Bunny Lodge is a family-owned and operated facility that continues to generate a very positive reputation for the happiness and well-being of our guests.
We think of Bunny Lodge as a 5-Star Pet Resort, providing more than a ‘home away from home’ experience and including a wide variety of premium cat and dog meals such as Nutrience, Eukanuba,Coprice and Royal Canin, topped off with chicken dog-roll for our canine guests
and raw veal for our feline guests.
Accommodation at Bunny Lodge Animal Holiday Resort exceeds the minimum standards set by AgriQuality NZ, and has been awarded the top rating of 5 Stars.
Excercise a 'house specialty'
Exercise and time outside is our 'house specialty'.
Based in the countryside, we have three ginormous paddocks
for a decent gallop chasing balls or following wild
rabbit smells, ten secure grassed yards just like the
backyard at home, and of course the swimming-pool paddock
with its rockery, waterfall and variable-depth pool.
Dogs are exercised in these areas at least three times
per day. Night-time is very quiet because everybody
is so exhausted after so much stimulation!

Personalised experience
Although we provide suitable bedding, our guests are more than welcome to bring along their favourite blankie if it makes their stay more enjoyable (but NO bean bags please as they clog our drains if burst!). It is common for home-toys to be ignored by the dogs, because they are having
so much other fun at the resort.
Fresh water is available 24hrs per day. New clients and old ones are encouraged to inspect the accommodation prior to booking confirmation and discuss any special requirements or needs. And of course, owners are encouraged to bring their pet's favourite
pipe and slippers.
WE INSIST THAT ALL OUR GUESTS HAVE CURRENT VACCINATION CERTIFICATES
AND THAT THEY ARE BROUGHT WITH THEM ON EVERY STAY.
If current vaccination status cannot be demonstrated, we will be unable to have the pleasure of your pet at Bunny Lodge. We make no exceptions as this ensures our other guests are not put at risk. Administration of any and all medications is no problem at all, and is taken very seriously
by us.
