 Agility
Bunny Lodge does a whole lot more
than look after your dog. In addition to providing lots
of stimulation through interaction with people and other
dogs, we also have Kennel Club competition-grade agility
equipment available. This equipment is contained within
a securely-fenced paddock, with excellent off-street
parking.
A wealth of experience
We are working closely with Jan Koortse, who
has been 3-times National Agility Champion in South
Africa, is a sought-after trainer and judge and was
until recently the president of the largest agility
club in the South Island and continues to compete and
win with his own dogs. Jan provides a wealth of experience
in his quietly gentle but firm manner, to which the
dogs respond enthusiastically.
Owners too!
Agility training is also available, for both the dogs
and more importantly for the dogs AND their owners.
This is important because we all know how capable the
dogs are, it is the owners that need to learn, so that
their dogs can perform!!
Agility training and use of the agility equipment is
available for both our guests (live-in and day-care)
and for dogs that are not staying (training courses
or just using the equipment). Please contact
us to discuss your vision for providing your dog with
as much TLC and opportunities as he or she gives to
you so unconditionally.
