The Purrrrry and Furrrry
As for our feline guests, Bunny Lodge offers only one type of accommodation: DELUXE, with all the 'home away from home' comforts we know our little furry friends need.
We offer heated individual units of 2.3m x 1.3m (7x4 foot) on three levels.
These cater for young energetic kittens (4 months and over) through to elderly, less mobile cats. These units allow the cats to laze, lounge and luxuriate while their owners might be doing the same.
Each unit is kitted out with a bed and either a 3-foot carpeted tower unit, or a smaller
carpeted tower unit that incorporates a hiding box (as modelled by pebbles). Level one of the unit is for litter trays. Level two for the tower units and some of the dangly toys and branches (the branches serve as scratching posts and ways to climb to a higher area). Level three
is the sleeping quarters (since heat rises) and is always the favoured place of contented cats.
Bunny Lodge has a resident chef who is an absolute whiz! Twice a day we ask, "Who would prefer Nutrience, and who would like veal?" And if this is not acceptable then other alternatives (including canned foods) can and will be offered.
 Vaccinations
We insist that ALL CATS are vaccinated within the previous 12 months against feline infectious enteritis (Panleukopenia), Rhinotrachiitis (Herpes), and Calicivirus. Examples of vaccinations given are: NOBIVAC, TRICAT, FEVAC3, or FEL-O-VAX4. Please check with your veterinarian about immunisation,
and at the same time ask about having your cat wormed and de-flead. Cats need to be wormed and de-flead within 3 months before arrival. We recommend Frontline or Advantage flea treatments
CATS MUST BE VACCINATED AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL
TO GIVE THE VACCINE TIME TO WORK.
Kittens also need vaccinations. Please ensure they have their series of jabs before boarding. Harsh as it may sound, NO VACCINATION = NO BOARDING as we
need to protect all our guests.
